A few things to know booking your visit to Villa Ballena and Costa Rica in general.
The Peak Season
The peak season (also known as the “dry” season) runs from December to April.
The Rainy Season
The “rainy” season runs May through November. On a personal note – it’s our favorite time to visit as it’s less crowded and often, the “rain” lasts 5-10 minutes in the afternoon! Learn more on benefits of the season.
Whale Watching Season
By the way – there are two main whale watching seasons in Costa Rica – December to March and July through November.
